Galapagos Islands are considered to be one of the best places for wildlife viewing. The remote nature of the volcanic archipelago has allowed rare species to thrive in relative isolation. Charles Darwin's theory of evolution was inspired by his observations of the pants & animals he encountered while visiting here in 1835.
